I ...
I was right, when I told Ian I need to do more things. There's so much going on and Daddy handles all of it and I'm the princess ... I should start asking Daddy if I can handle more things. Even just little things, like arrangements for court celebrations ... or maybe if I can sit in on some of his meetings??
Daddy will think I'm sick, or something. But I do want to know more. I really do ... It's not so bad, right? Mother will be surprised, too, but ... but it had to happen sometime!! And ... and if I do get married, then it's important that I know some things. Even if it's to Ian. He only barely knows more about these things than I do ... and if I don't marry Ian, then ...
I'll ... I'll ask Daddy about it. Just if I can start going to meetings with him. Maybe he'll just think I'm curious ... |

October is so busy!!!
It was just my birthday and now we're making all the plans for the Night of the Dead party and there's so much to do!! Every time I think something will be easy it always turns out to take a lot of work ... Daddy says I'm getting much better at it, though!! I think maybe it's just practice. I've helped with so many things now that it's sort of second nature, almost!!
I hope everyone will come to our Night of the Dead party, even if you couldn't come for Festival. It's really fun!! Everybody always enjoys themselves, I think. There will be masks, and food, and music, and you really have to see a Hanalan Night of the Dead!! Nowhere else is anything like it. We do it the best!! Agi, you haven't been to one before, either, right?? Does Korin even do anything special for the Night of the Dead?? Since you went to school there ... |

Everyone!! Everyone on the Titania!! Everybody, please listen to me!!
I told Daddy and the captain what was happening, and they both don't like it at all. So, um, Lady Lyonesse said we should round everyone up in the dining hall, as quickly as possible, and I think that's the safest place ... !! It's better for everyone to be together...
But if anybody can read these and is in their rooms, it's probably better if you just lock your door and maybe try to barricade it a little!! We're running out of time if things go bad, so I don't want anybody to get stuck above deck ... I sent guards around to check the rooms and try to bring people down, but I don't know if they'll reach everybody!!
Things are probably going to be just fine though, so if everybody could please just calm down ... !! If everybody can help people get down to the dining hall and relay this around, it'll probably spread much faster that way. I'm going to help as much as I can, but it's going to need a lot of people, not just me ... !! I have the guards but I think if everybody could calm down it would help a lot, and spread faster ...
So, everybody please just stay calm!! One way or another everything will be just fine. |

Well!!!
I hope nobody else thinks they can do anything like that and not get in trouble for it!! There's absolutely no reason that anything like that should have happened and I hope both Philip and Colin are very sorry!! This is supposed to be a place for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves, not ... not for anything like that!!
They're going to be confined to their rooms for the rest of the night and if it happens again I'm going to tell Daddy that they shouldn't be allowed onto any more cruises for the rest of the year!! Maybe more than that, even!! That's just not supposed to happen, that's all!!
So ... so!!

Ohhhhhhhh.
I don't want to let everybody down and I know if I show this all to Daddy he'll just get more upset ... but isn't it being a little bit dishonest not to?? And I guess if Finlay's away from them, then ... then that's for the better, so maybe he won't get mad at all. But if I do show him, he might say that the cruise is off, and I can't tell everybody that after I just got their hopes up again ... !!
I think ... I think maybe I'll ask Lady Erana's advice, again. She's really smart about all these sorts of things, and she's been so nice about listening to me for everything.
I just really don't want to keep thinking of this alone ... !! And I don't want to let people down. Ian would probably say I ought to tell Daddy, too, but I don't know ... I don't think Ian really knows what Daddy would do. I know better than he does, and Lady Erana knows Daddy, too. Ian just doesn't know Daddy well enough yet, and he'd think that Daddy would let things go on, even though I know he wouldn't ...

Agi and I talked to Daddy, and I showed him my journal where you wrote, Finlay, to prove you were safe ... !! And then Agi said that maybe it wouldn't hurt to go on the Queen Titania after all, since Finlay wasn't hurt at all, and since somebody's probably going to find him, with how many people out there have trails .... !!! And, um, Daddy was kind of mad, a little bit, but it didn't last very long ... not at all!!
And, so, um, I think we're going to go out after all .... !!! Daddy said probably sometime in the next couple of weeks, and I think he wants it to be on a weekend, so, um ... !! |

... I do feel a little better ... Ian is really trying hard, too. He really wasn't comfortable when I was upset, not at all ... but he seemed better, when we were playing with Sera. He really didn't need to do that, but ... but he did. He smiled more, when we were in the gardens ...
I wonder if he's really going to stay here? His sister is back home, everybody's talking about it ... and Daddy said that was why Ian came here in the first place, besides the courting. So I guess he doesn't really have to stay here anymore, if he doesn't want to ...

He never thinks about anybody but himself!! He runs away and the rest of us are the ones who have to be here while Daddy is mad .... He doesn't understand how awful he makes everything for everyone else!! It's really not fair, not at all, and he's never going to get any better ...!! He'll probably just try to run away when they really leave, too, because he just doesn't care and he's a big jerk....
